07 ec250 will 05 ohlins rear shock fit

Hi can some one help me will the 05 ec250 rear ohlins shock fit my 07 model and is this a better shock then my sach shock [ hard to get serviced in australia ] any help would be great thanks

Yes it will.
I have one on mine right now.
I find the Ohlins easier to set-up.
