'12 bike weight?

Anyone weigh one yet? I know #s don't matter but man it feels light just lifting it and horsing it around the garage, like a 125 compared to my '07. Maybe its a psychological thing where I want it to feel that way after spending the $$? Right now I have Flexxbars and all guards mounted except the skid plate. Both bikes no fuel, '07 Tubliss F&R(lighter) and a Hyde which is nothing really.

When I'm done setting it up I'm going to bring it back to work and weight it on the freight scale properly if I can physically fit it on as its in a tight spot.

I thought the same with my 300 compared to the '10 300, when i looked it up they are suppose to be 4kg lighter but we both know it means nothing until you get them on the scales ;)

I would think that the poly subframe and smaller seat take some weight off the top of the bike, which is what makes the difference in feel either way when moving a bike side to side. Frame must be lighter too, because the forks are probably heavier and that Stealth is heavier than whats on my '07.

The AXP skidplate weighs something like half a pound less than an aluminum plate, and the Talon rear sprocket is made of hummingbird feathers - its about 40% of a Supersprox.

I rode a friend's KX450F, and while my 300 may tip the scales at close to the same weight (or possibly even heavier) I couldn't wait to get back on my "little" 300.

The seat for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the subframe weren't heavier than an aluminum piece. What's neat about it is how they were able to mold in a lot of features that would have been fabricated on an aluminum subframe.

I haven't weighed my 300 yet, but it feels like a child's toy compared to my Berg 570...
And the Berg 570 felt light, until you had to pick it up...
