12 speedo....

I managed to smash my speedo on a log this last weekend and was wondering if anyone has taken one off and was willing to sell ?
Mine is still ok but I need a fair bit of resin, fibreglass or whatever to fix it.
Also, lost the battery and the battery cover.

What model is on the 2012s Mark?

Its not the Vapor unit like the 2010/2011 models had is it? I think they use the Vector models..

As you can see the whole kits can be had for $109. I bet you could get the unit itself for around $70 Mark. Might be just as easy to buy a new one from Trailtech if no one has a second handy on the cheap. It'll be a quick and easy plug and play and you'll be back to 0 kms again

Yeh good pick up mate. I reckon it is the vector .
Like I said, the thing still works fine just need to fix the case and get a battery cover.

I found their customer support alright to deal with mate! I broke one of the connectors on the rear and they sent me a replacement when I ordered a spare speedo sender. Mines getting a bit worn where it runs through the headlight guide at nearly 6000kms. I bet they can send you what you need to patch yours up even, or at least tell you if it is/isn't feasable.

Trail Tech customer support is awesome. Many companies would benefit from following their example.

Did your bikes come with the speedo or did you install the trail tech ? I've been thinking of buying a trail tech seeing as they are priced reasonably but I don't know where I'd mount it. Does the key assembly need to be removed?

Mine came with the speedo . It mounts on a bracjket which incorporates the keyswitch on the right of the unit itself.
