2001 gas gas xc fly weight choices for rcing harescrambles

I have the 2k-2 in ignition with ha lightest fly wheel came with the bike oem what size add on fly wheel weight oz would u pick for harescambles and awrcs races I have the larger front power valve cover I would to get more lowend out of it.. to and smooth out the power but I like to run aggressive... idk if a rekuse might help idk help hear

10 to 14 oz. If its more technical and slick a 12/14 is good. More open or sandy a 10oz. The '01 XCs had nice aggressive power, they actually used the 200 CDI. Might try a G2 throttle as well, along with some jetting. These three variables can get you exactly what you want.

The former owner of my 2005 DE250 put an 11-ounce FWW on it. I have a 52T rear sprocket on it with RB. carb and head mod at 2,000 feet and Arizona hot. When jetted well I wouldn't want any less FWW.
