2001 gasgas 250 ec vs new ktm 300 and 250s xcw and acw

well im getting in to wood racing I have a 2001 gas gas 250 ec ok mint condition just bought it I just got off a ktm 380 exc and I found out that bike wore me out in racing. so I figure I would want to sell it what does the ktm 300 xcw or xc or the ktm 250 xcw or xc or the gas gas 300 ec or xc difent from my ktm 380 and my gas gas 250 ec need advise and help because I might be selling my ktm 380 and would like to get another bike. im getting into hare scramble racing and what is a good tire to use for eastern US wood racing like gncc

I think the poster is asking what the difference is between his GG250 and his KTM 380. Best way to answer that is ... just ride your 250 and you will know!

The other bikes will fall in the middle of your 2001 GG 250 and the KTM 380 in the power department, but the suspension on your 250 will not be up to the newer bikes standards. Your 01 250 will be competitive, since you are starting out take the money from the sale of the 380 and put it into the suspension on the 250. When you get better you will know what you want to move up to.

I have used the Michelin S/M12 combo for many years here in the South East. Many of my riding buds are into the Bridgestone front and a trials tire on the rear. I am currently using a Pirelli Scorpion on the rear of my 300 w/Michelin on the front. I hated the Scorpion on the rear of my 01 250 but it really works well on the 300. Go figure!

I like the 250 ok but I thinking in selling the ktm 380 to get another bike like a 300 ok and idk what bike to get ktm or gas and I know I that didn't sound right the post im doing harescamble in the east of the US and idk what tires to use I have a Michelin s12 on it now it came with a Michelin trials tire on it like new.. im just thinking what bike to get after I sell my ktm 380 that it. im 5'8 160 pound with gear on.. like how much diffence is the power different then the 380 to the newer 300 gas gas and ktms .. I like the 250 gas gas I have but I like having 2 bikes the gasgas 250 I have is the technical bike like tight woods bike I like it I will keep it and I still don't know what tire are good for wood in the east either I just don't know what bike to get after I sell my 2001 ktm 380 exc that all

I live close to Pittsburgh, PA I race the awrcs series and I want to move up to gncc some day. I bin riding dirt bike since I was 5 year old and endure is getting big now and I wood road my hole life

and what does the that rekluse auto clutch act like . does it mello the power down like a fly wheel weight o my gas gas I was think about putting one on and would u put the trails tire back on for racing or no because it suck in mud because I tried it but rocks root logs very good
