2001 xc250 shifter shaft bent crossover for replacement

Splitting my cases and bent shifter shaft stopped me. Im gonna cut it off in order to remove.

Gofasters does not have shaft available in fiche.

Will a kx shifter shaft crossover?

What are my options for getting replacement piece?

Appears to be only available as a complete shaft.....ME250236038CT is the part# You might hunt for a part out. I don't know of a crossover from another brand

Will shaft from 2003 fse 400 work? Cant tell from gf fiche.

Same thing happened on my 97' when I tore it down for rebuild. Bent (shifter) selector axis would not let me split the cases apart. Had to cut it!

Steve Beane from Afterhourscycle got me the piece (just the selector axis it self) I needed no problem.

FWIW, it's should be in the fiche at Gofasters, but it is called a selector axis.

Look at the fiche for any year Gas Gas under "shift cam" part #19.

Im seeing the assembly for $145.

Just got shaft from 03 400sm cheap from ebay.
It looked like it would work.
