2003 GG EC300, where is the VIN plate?

I need to have the VIN on my '03 EC300 verified for my DMV, but a quick glance at the head tube and downtubes show it ain't there....

Where is it?

It is stamped into frame neck . It could be bunch of little dots to make the digits . If it’s been painted by someone then they probably painted over

The 2003 should still be nickle plated frame . I have a 2003 in the collection . I think my 2001 also had a factory added aluminum plate on the middle down tube tube with info besides the frame neck vin

Neck / where triple clamps for forks go thru . Steering neck . Whatever you want to call it .

Oh! The steering HEAD, why didn't you say so? (just kidding). I looked pretty close but if it's just vibro-pen dots it'll be fer sher hard to see, might just remove the headlight/number plate. It HAS to be visible without removing bodywork, right?

Just pull headlight assy off and turn forks and you should see it it’s not electro penciled . You will see what I mean when you find it . If you don’t find it that means someone removed it and if so stolen

Yep, pulled the number plate off and there it was. Took the bike to the Auto shop to verify the VIN, it did not show up in the system so the tech looked at the bike and said "Honda, right?"
