Doing a top end service on my 2005 Gas Gas EC200. Replating the Cylinder and new Wossner Piston. Wossner states the small end bearing to be different from that of an EC250/300. The dimensions of the bearings are different with the EC200 bearing being 2mm shorter (19.8mm vs 21.8mm).
The history of the bike is unknown, but I found a wossner A size piston and 21.8mm small end bearing previously installed.
EC200 P/N: N1020
EC250/300 P/N: N1021
Does have any experience rebuilding an EC200 and can confirm which small end bearing I need. I have purchased the shorter one and it fits inside the crank just fine, however it is flush with outsides of he small end crank opening. The longer bearing will overhand the small end crank opening by 1mm on each side. Does this matter?
