Anyone looking for a project - reassemble bike? Depending on what direction what you want to go with it it's 99-92% all there in parts. Current motor out of the frame, top end of, swing arm off etc. Located in California near San Jose.
2006 EC250 with electric start, headlight and battery with 2k3 stator. I've owned it since 2009. It's been apart since 2018 or so. I was planning to swap to a 300 top end. Have the majority of the parts to do it. Cylinder I have needs a replate. 250 cylinder is good to go, just needs a new piston. I have the piston for 300. Also have Yamaha KYB SSS front end that I was going to put on, forks, triple clamps, front wheel, fender etc.
I'm sure I am forgetting a ton of stuff. Seems like have boxes and boxes of parts for this bike.

$1500?

Wish you were closer . You must have added the e start system to that bike ? I’m gonna talk to a friend over in cali and if he could box it up and ship it in pieces or pallet it or maybe put it on a pallet . Logistics of getting it from cali to Louisiana is the issue

Yes, added on the e-start at some point. I can't even remember how I acquired the parts, if it was from a part out or bought them from gofasters.

My friend in Cali is two far away and has no dealings with shipping a pallet . So the costs and trouble seems to large . Cause this would just be spare parts to add to my collection . The costs of your project plus shipping multiple box’s of parts would get very high . Let me think about this more and get back to you . Do you have anyone interested in this Yamaha forks ?

You can use a company like, U Ship.
They can pick up a complete bike and bring it to you. Basically, just roll the bike into a Sprinter van.

This is a bunch of piles of parts . Not a roller . And shipping this from Cali to La would cost a fortune . Everything strapped on a pallet is best way to ship this project

I used u ship to deliver a WWII tracked bren gun carrier from Michigan to La

Hellcat, where are you at in LA? I'm from Cali, was there in Oct. Planning on a trip in late Sept. I'll be driving and have a utility trailer with my AJP PR& on it. If you still want it by then It would be easy to transport for you. For a gas $$$ consideration of course ;)

I’m north or New Orleans in the Slidell / pearl river area . Where are you ?

Because everyone has a Bren gun carrier. Dad had one years ago when I was a kid.
This was had top side armor cut off and about 6 inchs of rat mess and dead critters in it . Was in a barn for who knows how many years. . Seller said his father drove it home like 30 miles when he bought it way back . lol . It was cheap . I got it running and driving . But no time to mess with it anymore . One day . lol

My dad is in the same boat, selling off all his WW2 toys, getting too old to crawl under them anymore. Most of the big stuff went to a museum in Wyoming I think
