2009 GasGas model info!!

They look very good. Let's hope that the American public embraces GasGas enough that our current importers can justify doing business with GasGas.
I am a bit puzzled, maybe I misread. Do all bikes, except the 125 come with Sachs-Boge forks, or is that only the Racing versions? I really appreciate that GasGas refines a great product rather than changing for the sake of change.

Very nice. Normally Gas Gas would have released the 2009 model info in June of 2009.

It shows the new commitment from Spain to get products out to the public.

Impressive.:)

Looks like some bike candy is in the works as well. Or at least an official book of parts anyway.

You want photos? Nice high res photos?

Check out www.jas.es, that is the official Gas Gas press release agent. There are photos and info (in spanish) on the site. Look under "Escoger opción" for "Gas Gas Producto/Empresa" and make sure you select "Fotos" and click "Buscar".

There are some pretty awesome rally photos on the site as well.

those pics look sweet - like the new black swing arms....hmmmm...a set of ltd. edition black gasgas plastics would be nice - as for the husky, i test rode one of the new 08 250's - it was a lovely bike but noticably HEAVIER ( without fuel!!!) than my old KLX300 with a full tank  - maybe in a couple of years......

I would have bypassed the 250 and gone right to a 300 - 350F like Husky. The side valve motor in an EC frame would be an awesome technical terrain motorcycle. Shame, as I saw this as my next bike since I get older and more beat up.

I'm thinking a white 515 for my DS mount to play on the local trails and back roads and the new 250ec 2stoker to ride on sundays,,

The only growing segments in motorcycle sales is the dual sport segment and scooters All other criteria of motorcycle sales are in dramatic decline.

GasGas needs to invest in epa/dot approval to get a broader market for the 4 strokes as a dual sport. Although with the declining dollar - it's hard to make it a profitable proposition.

From the demographics I see on the husky forum (I recently bought one...) -> you have guys in the 40s and 50s who rode dirt bikes in the 1970s and getting back "into it". They feel most comfortable on a dual sport machine and justify getting the bike to use as a cost saving commuter in addition to using it for trail riding.

More news - Motorcycle sales down worldwide (about 10%) and in U.S. (approaching 15%)....

I read that article about a month ago and thought it would be great if GG came out with a 650-690 dual sport to complete against the KTM's, BMW's and Husky's. All wishes...
