2010 Footpegs and Skidplate

EE is going to have a skidplate ready shortly. I put the Moose hybrid pegs on and they are nice pegs but they don't clear the brake pedal when they fold up. I ground on both the peg and the pedal and got some of the clearance back.

I knew the GG and Yamaha used the same foot pegs but you say it's the same as the Husky too? Troy on the pivot pegs see if you can try a set first. A friend has them and me nor my son can get along with them. I do like the idea just can't get use to them.

Hi John

I Really like the idea but was turned off by the price and bought the moose hybrids instead... with 1/2 in ch rear offset

problem is the moose pegs are really HD.... dont think they will crumple up and save the bike like the first ones did.....oh well got to be more careful lol

Pivot Pegs take a few rides to get used to, but once comfortable you will never go back.

How much did you pay for those Dave....I couldnt find a set for less than $150:eek: I like the concept for sure....

Not sure Troy, it was way back when Marty Graver from 'Brap! Offroad'
became a sponsor for C/H and had a promo on for the members. Not even sure he sells them any more.
Like Glen has stated once you try them pretty hard to ride on the trails without them. I have the on my 510 also.:D

On a Husky, the barrel that the pin goes through has to be filed a bit, to fit foot peg mount. I have Moose Yamaha/Gas Gas pegs on my WR144.
