jetting 2012 200xc

White,
Another member turned me on to his spec. which is 45 pilot 6.5 slide stock needle 2nd clip from top and 172 main jet. This seems to work very well for me.
good luck.

What was the stock needle? From all of my experience jetting all the bikes I have, the real magic is in the needle. Not surprising as it covers the largest range of throttle openeings.

Jake,
I'm glad you reviewed the post,as I wanted to get your thoughts on the needle
which is nozh. I'm very happy with the jetting Hamilton has suggested.
However still massive amounts of spooge @ the exhaust. keep in mind I have yet to get the squish corrected. I'm also thinking of trying the cannon silencer.
Good luck w/ the tear down, looks good so far.Almost forgot mixing silkolene @ 32:1 92 oct.pump piss
guessing 1500 feet above sea level.

Cheers John,

NOZH is the same taper profile as the N1Ex but half a clip position leaner. I find it interesting that GG is actually using a leaner needle in their 200s than they are in the 300s.

I played with that taper profile in my 300 and the 1st taper was always too rich. I never even bothered with the 250 top end, but I'm not surprised it runs alright in the 200. Generally the smaller bores will require richer jetting. Your spooge could be from the first taper, but more likely its just the fmf spoogecannon q-series silencer, especially considering you said its running well. Thats the most important part of it all. :D

Thanks Jake,
Hey I've been meaning to ask, I was kicking around the Ausie gg site and ran across a photo of a bloke and his wife? They both had mullit hair doo's.I fell out of my chair laughing. No disrespect if this is there norm. Lol... Do you know the photo I'm speaking about?

...... I find it interesting that GG is actually using a leaner needle in their 200s than they are in the 300s...........

On my 2011 ec200 Six Days it has a #6 slide I don't know what comes in the 2012's.
I've read on here some earlier 200's having a 6.5 slide

Anything is possible with the run of 250s/200s. My 250 came with a notched #7, my buddy's 250, only two numbers apart from mine in the VIN, a non-notched #7.
