Is any company developing a quick release setup for the battery box on the 2012's? Or battery box eliminator with some quick release supports?

Posted this the other day.

Replace the mounting bolts with clutch pivot bolts. Grind the heads off and round them over. You now have 4 x locating pins to hold it in place. Lift out to remove.

Wish i could have read more of the email to see how the seat also connects or if they used other fasteners.

Personally, I feel this issue only affects a very small amount of riders; ie. ones that would have to change a filter during a long dusty race. That's maybe 1% of riders.........
Sticking a shaped block of oiled foam in the opening(over the airfilter), or using a filter skin will eliminate that issue for that 1% and be much quicker than doing a filter swap.

My 2012 is going to Enduro Eng next week for test fitment. I am sure that something like that will be on the list of things to make.

Once I pulled my battery box I could not get two of the bolts to line up and install properly, so I am looking forward to just removing it.
