I’ve just bought a 2012 EC250 and am trying to locate a workshop manual for it.

Can anyone point me in the direction?

it was quick thinking by motocrosscenter. these used to be hosted on the gasgas website, but when ktm bought them they removed all references to the legacy gassers

Yes it was indeed. I wonder what’s going to happen to KTM now. I think CF Moto might buy them.
