2012 key removal

So i removed the key. Wired up a kill switch using 2 wires, yellow/green and black/yellow. Works great.
Then i got a 3 post rocker switch from Napa. Wired the remaining 2 wires, red and red/black to power and load, then grounded to the triple clamp so i have a light lit when in on position.
The cool thing is, i dont need the switch to be on to kick start, in turn the tail light remains off. Turn the switch on and i get a tail light and power to my starter.
The switch also snapped into the bracket the key was in. A little loose so I super glued it so it doesn't vibrate.

nice! I did the same thing on my last bike, a Husqvarna TE310. It worked well except the crimp blade fittings which attach to the switch would pull out sometimes when going over whoops or after a crash.

I'd just make sure that the wires coming from the switch aren't ever under tension and you should be golden.

Nice work and thanks for the writeup by the way.

Yeah they are pretty snug on the switch and ziptyed them to other wires for relief. Should be ok, I hope.
