I prefer the red upper shrouds on the 12's, but I do like the suttle changes to the side number plate graphics.
New one has the E-start and have not had any problems. Give me a shout you need to ride mine and you will be convinced as to what you need to do. Let me know if you want to meet up, maybe a sunday ride out of Buds.

I see they changed the upper rails of the sub-frame to aluminum.
For the "Racing" Race model only. US models, and the standard models elsewhere, have an updated composite subframe.

This is indeed a very nice bike !!!! A real breath of fresh air on what concerns design . I already felt the same for the '12 model but this Race model just has it all.

Look at the linkage. They changed the design to a pull rod/pivot assy with the bearing in it and not the frame. It now rides inboard of simple frame brackets, with one tool access. The '12 design is just stupid, makes simple servicing a real PIA. This is one '13 upgrade that cannot go on a '12. Also means that Steve at Scorpion racing called it right not making another run of link skids. This will require a new design like that for the KTM.
