Good lord...can't imagine pounding whoops with that...or doing any drop in work.

Maybe 3D printing will make a fuel resistant plastic one day...only option now is get an aluminum one custom made, if you want a larger tank.

Found these guys, they have made them for Gas Gas in the past....don't see anything for the newer frames.

I wouldn't want to know how much that thing weighs... The gasser already weighs to much of its own... But to each his own.

Most likely the weight of an alu tank is less than the OEM plastic one.

If you are willing to pay the cost, there are some really good tank makers out there. Some of them produce only what they have patterns for, while others can make you a tank from a template or just a sketch.

Probably just easier to buy a different brand bike. Other than cost of getting an aluminum tank built, can't see through it. Awfully nice to glance down and see how much fuel is left.

Not sure how the GG's will sell to the desert racers, with no larger tank available. Pretty much a requirement to race the Western part of the US.

I was told it won't work, doesn't fit the frame and the shrouds won't lineup to the nut inserts.

Haven't seen a '12+ in person, so I never had a chance to try my Clarke in the newer chassis.

No dealer close to me either, so kinda SOL....
