Long shot I know, but I'm trying to figure out my options. I have a 2007 450FSR. Was out for a ride yesterday and it started to have a slight hesitation on initial throttle application. Running totally normal other than that. Symptom lasted about 15mins then the bike died. Tried to restart, no electrical power. Checked battery connections and found battery badly swollen. Pulled battery immediately and set to the side. Called for a ride. Got bike home and tried to start with known good battery, thinking maybe the voltage regulator went out and took the battery out. Still no signal. Jumped main relay and was able to get power to the cluster and prime the fuel pump, crank engine. No spark. Followed the smell to the ECM. Opened it up and found 2 burnt resistors-tried to clean to get the values off of them but now they are totally illegible- and a burnt chip. No other visible damage. This ecu is incredibly hard to find a replacement it seems.
TLDR: Does anyone happen to have a schematic or a picture of this ECM that I can get the values for these resistors? I'm going to try and repair the board.
Alternatively, does anyone have any experience or wisdom they could share on running a mega squirt or other aftermarket ECM. I'm not well versed in tuning from scratch. TIA
