I hear you on that and agree. I've ridden the Rattlesnake for a long time but in the back this year, after a big rain, as a national was much less fun.
I was on row 82 yesterday! The muddy holes weren't as bad as I'd been led to believe but some of the climbs out were full-on nasty. A touch less rain and it may have been perfect.
Awesome that they're bringing back the Black Coal in Lynnville at round 9. We used to race this one all the time when we were younger. Back in the day when John Martin was killing it on a Can Am.
Of course living close by helps me out too. Only about an hour from me.
