Very nice, but I wish I understood the Gas Gas 4T`s and exactly what they are. I know very little about Gas Gas as it is, but I loved my 300EC. But then I also read threads of Yamaha parts etc.

The 4T is a 4 Stroke Yamaha YZ450F/WR450F based engine that GasGas and Yamaha corporation formed under a 5 year contract agreement for all GasGas 4 stroke 250's & 450's.

This is why GasGas spent 3 million US Dollars to purchase the old Red Head Technology engine rights from Husqvarna for the 4 stroke 250, the TE449, and the 310 2 stroke engines because their agreement with Yamaha was over and done... other issues as well but non the less.

The 2014 EC450F-R is a great bike because all the drive train and power plant are proven very dependable and inexpensive compared to KTM, and GasGas 2 stroke parts. Plus great all around Dual Sport, Enduro Machine...
