Hi all,
I sold my 11' EC 300 bought a 14' XC 300 and I'm loving it.

The new Closed Cartridge 48mm forks are a great improvement over the 11' 45mm open chambers. and the Reiger shock seems better than the Ohlins 888 that the 11' had.

My question is about the Reiger shock compression settings. There appears to be only one adjuster for compression on the reservior and I don't know it if it's high speed or low or both.

If anyone has any info please reply.

-Thanks

It's low speed only. Which is a shame as the hs comp damping is far too stiff for typical tree root infested rocky single trail. The rebound is also pretty tight and needs to be a bit quicker. Apart from that I agree its a great shock even stock. With a revalve though it's unreal.

Ok thans N Green. That is good to know, although it seems odd to have only low speed comp adjustment on a shock these days. I am looking at a revalve and respring for the shock and forks both. There is a local suspension guy here (Riders Edge Suspension) who does excelent work, so I will use him.
