Thinking about getting a ec300 again, last one I had was a 2002, seen a 2015 for sale, but been out the loop for 7 years on enduro bikes and unsure on the newer bikes.

Anything I need to know? Parts easy to still get now ktm has bought them out? Does the 15 come with leccy boot? Whats the suspension like on this years?

Pic is of the bike in question.

Motor is basically the same as the current Rieju/Gasgas bikes.
suspension is Marzocchi closed cartridge forks with Rieger shock. Decent quality, some coating issues on the forks, I have seen a shock spring collar break but that was a one off.
Plastics are a bit slapped together and airbox access a little tight.
They are very reliable though and ride very well.

I'm with Nate on this one. I have a 2015 EC200, I'm very pleased. Have ridden it 350 hours over 6 years. No major problems. I replace the piston every 100 hours or so. Did the crank last winter, after a M6 screw worked loose inside the crank.

Spare parts are available, Rieju delivers parts even for the older models.

After some tuning, my Marzocchi forks are just as I like them to be. I have a set of Ohlins cartridges on the shelf, but haven't got around to installing / tuning them yet.

The stock Reiger shock is good. I have upgraded to an even better Reiger shock which is excellent.

My bike is kickstart only, but I would think all the 300s were electric start.
