2018/19 aftermarket cylinder head

Everyone raves about this head.
The $150 is to modify the OEM head.
The other is a full billet head.

Best money you will spend on your bike. He has 3 different options available. The cheapest being reshaping the stock head, next would be modifying your stock head to accept his insert, and most expensive would be the full billet head. I went for the billet head and it was worth every penny. Power improved across the board drastically, and overheating is near impossible now.

Thx for the input guys.
It could be due using my phone but the website showed $150 for the full head.
I figgered for that price give it a shot (and it seemed cheap) but their website dosnt do international and I got correct price buying via email. Just abit short of cash right now so wanted some opinions before spending that much.

I have a GP250 and straight off idle the bike is doughy as so hoping the head will improve that area

I had them cut a stock head for 100 octane fuel. Noticeable improvement to bottom and mid-range power. They will also cut your stock head to accept different inserts. This is nice as you can run a higher compression insert for higher altitudes.

Have you changed the stock needle jet yet? That thing is garbage and robs tons of bottom end power

Have a 42 pilot and NECW on 3rd clip installed. Plug chops say it?s rich but less power if I lean it any more

I never had much luck with the NECW but lots of guys running it. My go to has been the N3CH on the 3rd clip. Plenty of bottom end with a nice hit into the mid range.

Another thing that gave me a nice boost in low end aside from the RK Tek head was an FMF Gnarly pipe. Along with the low end gains, it really smoothed it out

Do they require some sort of squish measurement before purchase of the billet head? I am looking at getting one, but wondered what was needed prior. Thanks.

No. Just call him and tell him what you’re looking for as far as power delivery and so on. He will build the insert specifically for your needs.

Plug chops mean nothing away from road race track and then only for mainjet.

Surely any tuner would want careful squish measurements. The older bikes have a wedge shape which needs correcting to parallel.

Memphis. I?ll give that needle a try.

GASGASCWB I was looking at that one untill I found out the GP bikes stock head comes with the same chamber design. I?ve been informed by a good tuner the problem I have is the chamber and there is not enough meat in the stock GP head to correct it. He advised to get a stock EC head and send to him

(F5). Was wondering the same about squish. In the corospondace they said it would be shipped the following day. I figgered I could have it done myself at a later date.

Fitted the N3CH needle with 42 pilot and 180 main. Rode the bike today and the bottom end is improved.
Thx to everyone for their input. I will get this head as well (never to much torque in the rubbish I ride) but the bike is working well in the snotty stuff and a weapon when the trails open up

Just wondering, on the billet head, did you have to do some re-plumbing of the coolant hoses? From the picture on the RK Tek website it appears there is only one spigot on top of the head. My 2011 has the bolt on flange with one spigot for either side radiator hose to attach to.

Also, did you have to go with shorter head bolts? These are both problems I ran into when trying to run the piece of shit XIU head and considering this head is twice the price, I want to know what I'm getting into. Thanks.

I don't think they make a billet head for the pre '17 bikes.
They would modify your existing head.
