Just put deposit on 23 six days. Hope the starter is fixed and they put the bottom end together with the correct bearings. Anyone on a 23 yet?

Like I said on TT... sexy! I love that red, white, and blue scheme on the bike. It just looks right on it.

Think the starter will be fine. I replaced my 18 starter with the Reiju parts and it does not miss a beat hot or cold.

first ride

So first day ride report. Like my 18 but better. Changed springs and added lectron, Kept stock tires on. Set suspension to comfort settings. Kept stock gearing , - usually run 12-50 . Button works great, my 18 was always iffy til it died at about 40 hours, then it wasnt. Engine feels very strong. Have not checked PV setting. Set the lectron to run real rich during break in and the bike still pulled hard and lugged down to nothing. I ride mostly low speed technical rocky, rooty northeast singltrack with the occasional 30 mph burst of speed................ Bike did great, I Am a happy camper! Suspension was smooth, took a little to settle in but once she did she was great . Rocks, roots , whoops all with no drama. Only real complaint is I don't like the stock s3 pegs.

How is the head on these Reiju bikes,is a squish adjustment needed?

Very much so. I had massive detonation knocks and the like. TSP performance in Australia did my head and sorted it out. I?d doubt they have changed anything from the gas gas design

head

Supposedly they did some mods to engine. 54hp?:D heard somewhere . Have rk tek head but am scared to put it on due to the high compression against starter. Have not touched engine other than set pv to smooth? and added lectron. Thought I heard some pinging but the pipe is thin and i'm not used to this bikes noises yet. I'll try some race gas next ride to see if it disappears.
Anyone hear about rieju engine build ?

Depending on what gas is specified it could be same compression as std but with much less squish. Only way to find out is either measure on the engine or take both off and measure with a flat plate fitted. I'd measure squish first with solder so have se comparison.

1mm would be ideal on a 300.
