250F for 2012?

Question for you guys out of the US: Is the shift away from 4T back to 2T happening in your countries, too?
Thanks!
Clay

KTM's 2 stroke in Portugal sell like hot bagels , they always run out of stock each year. GG is KTM's main competitor in our 2T market especially up north were the distributor is. Husaberg 2t is also a nice selling product but it's more expensive than KTM and GG but the suspensions are better, at least better than KTM's :D . They sell more 2 strokes than 4 strokes. YZ250 is only available when ordered (don't see a new one of those for quite a long time), Husky as no real expression and other than that the big enthusiasm is for KTM's 350 (the one that would make you a potential MX champ but only proved to work on Cairoli's hands...).
In the used market 2 strokes sells way better than 4 strokes, and it's not just a matter of price, usually it's riders that go from 4T to 2T due to maintenance costs.
2T are on the rise and it's not just because of the worldwide crisis, it's also because the manufacturers continue to improve the models and people tend to realize 4T are useless engines built to favor everyone else but the rider ;)

down this part of the world we have been cursing and blaming the US for the end of the jap 2t enduro bikes!

Here in the US, some of us narrow it down to blaming the flawed AMA rulebook.

If you are of a certain age, you remember when 4-strokes were the quiet, low maintenance alternative. Now, between the noise and the expenses, they're doing as much harm as good for the sport, IMHO.
