Running Ec300 on the street With supermotard Wheels and big-brake kit, the suspension is pretty terrible. It dives just touching the front brake. Compression is maxed out.

i am 87kg With gear on, bike is a 06 300EC so guessing With fluids, maybe a 103-105 kg?

Without knowing too much about forks, and since the forks are nearly in bottom when going from 70mph-0, guessing I would need New springs and some revalve and New oil?

Is this a job that average+ skilled hobby-mechanic can do in a workshop?

Springs first. Preload will not help.
Try find a super motard forum.

Ok. Just for the sake of it, do you know some good places to order new springs from to these 45`s? Ill check out SM forums, thank you.

By the way; you have alot of good posts with good info!

I'm going through the same thing at the moment with my EC300 SM, the WP43s fitted top out when you open the throttle, and dive when you close it. My plan is to shorten the forks and fit shorter, uprated springs. The problem with the WPs is that there are NO springs available, meaning i'm having to have them custom made. You should be able to get springs to suit your Marzocchis, you just need to measure the length and diameter of your original springs, decide how much you want to up-rate them and look here: http://www.racetech.com/page/title/FRSP-RT Fork Spring List
to find suitable replacements. Then order from your nearest racetech dealer from the list here:

Beware though, not all the springs on that list are available, I wasted time trying to order some that would suit my WPs, to find they'd been discontinued.
I'm going up from 0.38s to 0.44s.
