C'mon! I'm in the garage working on changing my head lamp plastic(thank you jhendr3702 for the palstics) and I fumble my lamp and watch in horror as it shatters on the garage floor. Like I said in the "stupidity" post, Todd you are not alone!

Gofasters lists the lamp for $180.00, this is absurd. Is there a replacement for this anywhere?

I feel like Charlie Brown as he flies thru the air and lands on his back missing the football, yet again......

sorry dude.. i thought i had seen a few used on ebay... just checked again... nada...
 
Just the lamp? Do you have model year? If i recall, i think my headlamp (2002 EC 300) is the same that the european scooter manufacturers and KTM use. If that is the case, i can get a lamp at the scooter dealer for about $10.

Does the base of the bulb have a part number? These are likely generic, but I am only speculating 'cause i don't know the year of your bike.
 
just the lamp? i would assume it's an h4 12v 35w. i don't have a headlight on any of my bikes, so i can't check. if it is just an h4, and auto parts store or even walmart will have a 35w h4... about $8

that 07 300 i had with a 10 headlamp was an automotive bulb..
dont remember the the number, but it was a common 3 spade headlamp bulb.

If u can use a ktm light (I have no idea if u can) u can find them used on ktmtalk for about $75 +-

$180 is a little high for a new one but almost in the ballpark
