Yes it won't work with electric starters, but I only have the kick to start it up.
So if the 15 already comes with adjustable PV on the other side, i'll go ahead and have a look at parts breakdown for it and compare them with the 14. If we can mount the 15 stuff on 14 models, that would be great and maybe cheaper too.
I'll report back my findings, between 14 and 15 models:
- right crankcase is the same, part number: ME10000GG-CAB-1
- inner clutch cover gasket is the same: ME25644002
- discs clutch cover is the same: ME22010GG-CAB-1
- discs clutch cover gasket is the same: ME22015GG-CAB-1
- water pump cover and gaskets are the same (ME57010GG-CAB-1 and ME57000GG-CAB-1)
So based on the above, one would need to buy/mount on the 14 to get the knob:
- inner clutch cover (the one that has the pv adjustment knob) witch based on the above it should fit, part number: ME65000CT-CEQ-1 , priced at ~100 € depending on where you buy
- discs clutch cover gasket, part numbert: ME22015GG-CAB-1 , priced at ~3 € depending on where you buy
- water pump gasket (bet I can use the old one, but anyways), part number: ME57010GG-CAB-1 , priced at ~1 € depending on where you buy
- the whole centrifugal governor set, part number: ME59000CT-CEQ-1 , might get as high as 200 €, need to give motocrosscenter a call
- stick lever set, part number: ME72325CT-CEQ-1, might get as high as 20 €, need to give motocrosscenter a call,
- impeller outer lever, part number: ME59045CT-CEQ-1 , should be cheap enough
- impeller lever axis, part number: ME59035GG-CEQ-1 , should be cheap enough
- valve axis support, part number: ME59040GG-CEQ-1 , should be cheap enough
- o-ring for the knob, part number: ME65110GG-CEQ-1, should be cheap enough
- the knob itself, part number: ME65100GG-CEQ-1, should be cheap enough
So in the end one would get in the ~400 € mark and lots of work since the whole bloody thing needs to come apart. I'll do a more detailed breakdown once i get back home from work and see if the whole centrifugal governor set can be split into pieces and be cheaper if one buys exactly the only parts that are needed (witch are too many to handle at the moment, will report back).
