Airbox and gaskets

Been tinkering with my "new-to-me" ride ('06 EC300) and noticed the airbox is relatively useless with regards to keeping water/mud out. Did a quick search and found some use foam etc. in there but is that best? Thinking that woudl reduce air volume. Any suggestions?

Also, I'm going to inspect the clutch and put a new powervalve cover and billet waterpump impeller on from GoFasters. Is this bike all orings or paper gaskets and has anyone found a complete engine set from Cometic or the like?

TIA!!

Sweet, thanks! I'll let y'all know if I get screwed over by them or not! ;-)

I doubt you'll get screwed over by them. It's the power sports division of Summit Racing. I've been ordering race car stuff from them since the early 90's and I've never had an issue.

My favorite go-to parts supplier in the US is Bob Piper at North Tahoe Motorsports. Great to deal with, LOTS of technical knowledge, and I think everything is in stock. If it isn't on the page, email Bob and he'll get you a price. Great guy, he really helped me when I rebuilt my 2002 XC300.

gaskets

Last complete gasket set I bought was from gofasters
Complete set I dont think it was too much cause i'm a cheap / frugal SOB
I'd check with them and they get stuff to you pretty quick, also there are some on ebay from international sellers
But i'd trust gofasters 1st
