Anyone in Hartford, or more specifically New Britain?

Hi guys.

Hey I know it's a long shot and i realize I'm not one of the regulars around here and all...but my wife found me the exact pair of used, like new, mx boots I've been looking for (bless her Gatt dang heart!) on Craigslist.

They're in New Britain CT...and I live all the way on the other shore in Bellingham, Wa,...

... and the guy says firmly he won't ship!

I aksed nicely...no will do!

I've been looking for months for Tech 8 black with red to match my GasGas and my kit. I'm in construction supply so I've literally taken a 80% pay cut over the last few years and am lucky to still be able to ride (baby is due Dec 15) so no way can I afford the new one's, and mine Tech 8s are letting the Pacific Northwest rains flow right on thru them these days.

I really hate to ask and don't want to put anybody out, but for all I know one of you could ride with this guy and get the boots pretty easily. Anybody here just happen to live in New Britain and work next to the UPS store to ship to me collect of course?

I am also bidding on some on ebay but who knows where that will end up.

I put a call out on ADVRider (it's 145,000 members, so someone has to live near the guy) and got 3 responses right away. Have faith people, there are definitely good people out there.

This week my Christmas list was completed by receiving my Tech 8's and my brand new Olivia Mae, all healthy, gorgeous and gnalry. Lulu Puy, don't look back because Little Livsey is right behind you.

As for the boots, a guy on ADVRider lived in the same town, went and bought them and shipped them and just told me to reimburse him. Of course I gave him a little something extra for his parts fund.

I went to buy an ohlins rear shock and the guy said why don't you just try it out for a bit and if you like it pay me and if you don't just bring it back. Some people are just awesome.
