:D

Unfortunatley The better half came home early.
I still have scars!

I do that kind of stuff to my wife all the time. She takes it ok for the most part. Except if its a carb. When I fill the house with the wonderful smell of gas she gets a little upset. I rebuilt a chainsaw in the living room once. That didn't go over well either:D.

I always wash my body armour, boots, leatt and helmet in the shower. I need one after a ride anyway so they might as well all jump in too.

Moving to south Louisiana (Yes, farther south than you Blanco.)

Every time I ask about GasGas parts, i'm asked why I have to put gas in a bike twice. :D

I got busted detailing my bike in the living room(there was a show on, I had to see), after it's outside bath. What saved my skin...I had the kids helping:D

ha, some of you guys are 2 funny :)
I tore into a old Suz GS450 on the enclosed porch this winter. Did head gasket, overall cleaning, new tires, etc. Then painted parts in the spare ummm "storage" room in the house. Wife took it well as I was building it for our daughter. Still have engine degrease stains all over the porch....
I just told wife it was too cold in pole barn and I wanted to be close to her and the kids and not be in barn for hours every night...awww, she fell for it..lol

Gear in the shower? I don't even wash my bike/boots near the house side of the driveway as the mud builds up in the drain in front of the garage door, use the street side. I've scrubbed the frame from my '03 in the shower just before powder coating, as it was winter time. Before I put a heater in the garage I have done clean work on the bike in the rec room with the pellet stove cranking. My wife is cool with that, as long as there is no gas smell.

Its easier and less mess washing a frame in the tub than my two pitbulls.

Well, these episodes were before I got into GG's. Between my divorce and subsequent marriage, I lived in the bottom floor of an apartment building in Tucson. I was heavy into desert racing at the time and just getting back into MX. I kept my 87 Husky 250xc and 89 Yamaha YZ250 in the dining room. Didn't get kicked out of the apt. either!

When I was in college, me and a friend needed to do a top end on his Yamaha CT1 175 so late at nite we wheeled into the elevator of my dorm and took it up to my room on the 8th floor. Two days later after the rebuild we wheeled it back out all ready to go.

I would have to say buying a gas gas in 01 which turned out to be the smartest move I ever made or maybe washing air filters in the washing machine I'm not sure I didn't get caught
