CCC Ride this weekend - June 26,27

How can you go wrong with 75 miles of single track for a non-member price of $22? I'll be pointing the mighty Ranger north to exit 290 off of I-75 to take part Saturday, and I'll have a 250 2st and the 250 4st in the back. If you plan on riding either, you'd better bring your checkbook - you're going to want one

CCC rides are famously family friendly, with lots of new rider education and trail technique teaching to be had, as well as good, minimally competitive riding, this time on bike-only trails.

Good times this weekend - it looked like it would be a wet one, but there was just enough rain to make it minty mint! If you've never been to the Tomahawk Trail system in northern lower Michigan (roughly exit 290 on I-75) you need to go. Take lots of gas and a GPS.

Don and I were repping the brand - Don on his yellow 200, me on the 2010 EC250. Yep, it was green out in the woods!

It's hard to think that you could have had a bad time on the ride, unless you hit a tree, or maybe if you ran out of fuel. Other than that, there was nothing to complain about ... even if you got lost
