Chain Guide Honda XR 200 Crossover

I found that the rear sprocket chain guide from a '93 Honda XR 200 (part number 52146 KT0 770) bolts straight on to my '06 EC. I had to elongate one of the bolt holes slightly, but other than that, the alignment looks right and fit looks correct with a 50t sprocket. I'm waiting on some other parts before I can test ride it, but would be suprised if there are any problems.

The honda part is cheaper (and japanese parts are generally more expensive than euro in the uk) than replacing the items which wear out on the Gas Gas chain guide. The honda guide looks like it should be stronger than the Gas Gas one.

If its just the insert you need to replace. We have had really good luck making our own out of UHMW.Wears really well, easy to make.

Rollers too.
And good stuff for chaffing gear here and there.

UHMW = 'ultra high molecular weight' had to search that :D I actually ended up with replacement polyethene parts for the GG chain guide as well, but I'll run the honda part for a while for interest's sake and will post up if any problems occur.

Here you go spooly
