Chain roller sizes and crossover ?

I'd like to change the chain rollers, since they wobble a lot.

I see ProX,All Balls, etc. make some nice ones witch come with bearings screws and everything. However they are very hard to get around here.

What are there sizes and are there any crossover from any other manufacturer ?

I found a set from All Balls (79-5008 and 79-5001) witch are stated to fit Gas Gas EC 300 from '99 up to '12.

Are they going to fit my '14 and do the job ? Cause I could order them with the new piston next week.

You talking about the roller that sits under the swingarm, just behind the side stand mount?

Why would you care that it wobbles? It is a bit of rubber on a shaft, that is designed to stop the chain whipping up and down on the power. That it wobbles or not is entirely irrelevant.

You are looking to solve a $2 non-problem with a $30+ solution. Leave it alone.

The bearing type rollers work nice initially, but can get gummed up with mud etc pretty quick.personal preference i guess.the simple factory sleeves are quite loosefitting(as if they are worn).looks cheap, works well enough.

Another point-the bearing type is larger diam, meaning the roller comes into play earlier in the travel.wether it matters is another question...presumably at full shock compression there would be a corresponding increase in the tension to chain but as long as its not unreasonable wouldnt be an issue
