Hi all

Has anyone tried the Chinese rads that are on ebay , I need some for my 12 and they are less than half the price of oem ones , any opinions on them would be appreciated .

Chris

I have had a set in my 08 300 for two years and a pair on a mates 08 450 for one year with no problems. Both sets are from GPI. On the 450 he is also running their silicon hoses again with no problems.

I've installed a couple of them in my EC 250 2008 for more than a year, so far no problem.

I ended up buying a set for my 12' 300. They are doing the job well. The oem cap didn't not fit and the one it came with was 1.1 bar. I found that a cap from a 13' KX450F will fit, you can find those in a 1.8 bar.

Did you get the ones listed as 12/13 rads , for some reason they cost more and I'm sure I read on here somewhere the 11 and 12 rads are the same

I installed some on my 12 but had to modify both sides of each radiator brace as the chinese rads are wider and deeper.
All good so far , touch wood.
Cheers Mark

I believe it was the pair listed as 07'-11'? The only problem I encountered was the bottom spigot on the left rad was curved into the cylinder, when it should have been curved outward a bit. I but a wooden dowel in the spigot of the same size and heated with a mapp torch and straightened it out.

I purchased one new rad for my 07 3 weeks ago cap side..I think it cost me 200/300 euros..this link could be handy thanks. although I live in Ireland and p&p could be pricey

Whe I order from motocross centre it takes a week , but the rads from them were 130 euro if I remember rightly

i find motocrosscentre.com good but its the p&p is a bollix...thats where my skid plate is coming from. .and the bushing and barings for the rear break peddle. .I olso order a new spacer/bushing for the rear wheel disc side..I had a big problem 2 weeks ago the new barings I put in the rear wheel collapse (disc side) a nearly destroyed the hub and spacer..the center spacer was too small and maby I didn't line it up properly anyhow a guy is making a stainless steel centre spacer for me and going to sort it out. .so for a couple of euros more I ordered the spacer and fork bleeders and break pads..they better hurry with my delivery
