ive lost the circlip from the gearshaft next to the lever what size isit please so i can get another one.

buy yourself a few from 6mm to about 12mm, costs nothing and at least 1 will fit

While you're about it, what I did after losing a lever (& not being able to find it) was lockwire & twist a loose line from a back frame rail to the mid of the lever, so if it does fall off again, the lever is still attached. Dumb system, a jap bike there is a scallop in the shaft & the lever bolt passes through it so prevents it slipping off.
