Very sad.... Rod was so good to us. He will be missed.
His participation in the forum is one of the things that made me appreciate the GasGas company.
I loved that the brand was small enough to interact with us on that level. No other brand could claim that.
I am however, glad to see them move forward and grow.
I'll especially miss his.... direct.... answers. He always called the shots the way he saw them
I can see why they would decide this from a business sense. But I will miss Mark and Rod's input here.
Thanks for the answer Jeff. And thanks for all your hard work.
Well then I offer up a massive thanks to the GasGasman and Jakobi.
Always a pleasure to hear from either of them, and their knowledge of the brand appears endless.
Stubborn... Consider my LIKE button pressed
Rod and the mods take a bow,and go for a nice long ride, washed down with a well deserved cold one(Jakobi may need a couple, its prob 45C in his corner! 36C yest in NZ)

Doesn't get that hot up my way! Usually get into those mid 30C's but couple em up with some 70%+ humidity and it's all fun and games! The cold bevvies always go down a treat though!
Cheers for the kind words everyone. To be honest you blokes are pretty much self moderating. I can't say I've had to do much more than address the occasional double post or something that's been dropped into the wrong subsection.
While we're all giving reach arounds I'm going to kick it back at Jeff with a big thanks for continuing to host the forums for us! It's a thankless task at times.. but he should know that we all appreciate the effort he makes on all of our behalves.
Late to the party, as usual, and just saw this. Thanks to everyone who makes this site possible. Also a thanks to the forum members who keep it fun but rarely let things get out of hand.
I had the pleasure of meeting Rod at AIMExpo in Columbus. Really nice guy that has helped me a few times. While it is a bummer he won't be here I'm very confident in the level of technical ability exhibited by our forum members as well as our dealers.
