Damaged 45mm Shivers

I've purchased an '06 EC 300. It has 45mm Marzocchi Shiver forks. Overall, the bike hasn't been used much (850 miles according to the odometer), but neither had the previous owner done much maintenance. I've stripped the chassis down, and am concerned about the condition of the forks. The fork seals were obviously leaking when I bought the bike, but on stripdown, the fork clamps had been torqued up very tight and some of the coating has worn off also.

My question is what kind of damage should I be looking for ? Any fork parts in particular that might need repair / replacement ?

Really normal for that coating to wear off on the lower tubes. What's more important according to Les at LTR Racing is the inner bushing wear of the upper tubes from over torqued lower pinch bolts. Check this carefully.
