I just thought I would pass along some news and some pictures of the Endurocross being held in Denver today/tonight. For all that have not been to an Endurocross, the day is open free to everyone so you can watch amateur practice and qualifying as well as pro practice and hot lap (determines gate pick for night show). The news is that a local Gas Gas dealer has a "booth" setup in the arena with 2 EC 300s! In addition, Cody Webb (2010 EC 300) and Keith Wineland (2011 EC 300 sponsored by "Dirt Cheap Off Road" in Woodland Park, Co) are trying to qualify for tonights main event!!! There may be 2 GGs in the final tonight as both Cody (2010 NATC trials champ on a GG trials bike) and Keith (2010 NATC 3rd overall on GG trials bike) both looked pretty good. Cody has a good chance of making the podium based on his speed during practice. The attached pictures show Cody's bike in the pits, the track layout, Dirt Cheap Offroad's setup, and the 2011 GG on display. I will post later with the results!

As a side note, the Dirt Cheap Offroad folks indicate that GG here in the states is close to being or already licensed in Colorado for selling new bikes (a silly requirement for all "motorized product" dealers)...Hopefully Clay can confirm the status as other dealers have expressed interest to me if this is true...Also, saw Dale the GG trials importer at the Dirt Cheap Offroad display...No doubt there to support his trials team and enjoy the competition!

Results from last night: Cody Webb gets 7th on Gas Gas 300 after advancing to main through the LCQ...Geoff Aaron won and Taddy salvaged a 5th. Keith Wineland did not advance to Pro final on his 2010 GG EC but he showed flashes of speed throughout the day and night. Cody looked fast and smooth on his GG and folks were impressed at how straight the GG tracked on the gnarly track and at the speed coming out of the obstacles. My wife thought he looked like the most controlled rider out there and, as usual, I think she was right! Congrats on making the final, Cody!

Just read the results from Denver... I see right behind Cody was another fine Canadian rider
Cory Graffunder on his Husky.
Since I am torn between both these fine bikes I have to root for both riders.

Hey along as we whip those orange things...it's all good.:D
