Desperate for an ec 250 engine

Hey guys in after an ec 250 engine to fit my 2000 chassis the race season starts in 3 weeks and the bearings in my counter balance shaft have gone.. I don't want to strip my engine down until I have a spare just incase.. Cheers luke

Anyone got a bottom end in uk they want rid of?

You could have fixed by now.

I have fixed the counter balance bearings (without splitting the casses) also put some new friction plates in as one was snapped and very worn. I would still like a spare bottom end so I can rip it apart and re vamp it so I have a spare..

You have the counterbalancer that fits across the width of the engine, under the intake port?
I thought '98 was the last year for that?

I thought 99 was the last year but my v5 for my bike says registered in 2000 .. The bike runs smoothe as now! That counter balance shaft really does smoothe things out compared to a mates 2007.. Pm on way mate
