Did GoFasters drop GasGas support?

I am surprised that a member with such a high post count is still fooled by the yo-yo of resurrection/ self inflicted mortal wounds. This is the 2016 Gas Gas momentum killing executive decision. Make certain that people can only buy last year's bike and make certain that no one can get parts for the bike that they have. I guess the new norm is calling every dealer in the states to see if they have the part you need stuffed in a shoe box in their warehouse and then begging them to ship it directly to you. The best you may be able to do is have it shipped to a dealer next to you (wherever that may be) and hope to have the part transported by carrier mule to your hateful neighbor's house. The fact that you have to beg for a part is part of the prestige. They are doing this to strengthen the bond between you and your nearest dealer and strengthen the bond between you and your hateful neighbor.

Think of is as an abusive version of pokemon go. Where every time a part needs to be replaced you have to search the country only to be punched in the balls on ride/race day.

By putting up with the abuse you demonstrate your love.

You can buy over 200 million items on amazon with one click and have them delivered to door. With Gas Gas you can buy almost 200 with 300 clicks, 4 calls, six transactions, three prayers, and the dream of owing a CNC machine and all the CAD files to build parts at home.

Where we would we be if the brand were truly dead? Better off? Give it time. Reserve judgment until they have their plans in place. In the short term I am sure it is not ideal for everyone. In the long term hopefully it is better for the brand and us, the consumer. If not, there are other manufacturers of dirt bikes out there...If you want your dirt bike parts on call like Amazon, you can always buy a KTM.

I have some parts waiting for me at my hateful neighbor's house so don't question my faith.

Ouch...The pain of gasgas resurrection is still fresh.. and yes it's all still brand new wounds not healed yet .. Are any of the 17's available yet? It's all still new coming back from the dead. I have Beta but still urging ..watching for the come back.. still have my 01 gasgas 300 and hoping the 17's are done right..and that the parts supply comes back to normal in due time.

Anybody that buys these small motorcycle manufacturing brands knew-knows what they are-were getting into.

If you want it now.If you want it in 20 years buy Japanese.
Our diehard GasGas rep chased the money.
Send him a message Im sure he will hook you up.

Of course youll be riding what everybody else is riding.

You cant have it both ways.Thats the message.

Jeez man. This is old news....

Look on halls cycles to order parts on line. They have a huge parts stock and always have.

Otherwise talk to your local dealer. They need your business too... :-)

Just noticed their OEM part finder no longer shows GasGas.

Mark Berg of gofasters is now working directly for torrot. Torrot purchased gasgas assets during bunkruptcy of gasgas motos.

Parts distribution has moved to factory owned warehouse. Parts are no longer distributed through GoFasters location. You now purchase your parts directly from dealers in United States.

1. A parts fiche is avaliable on gasgasmotos.us

2. I understand that there has been frustration and fear during the gasgas bankruptcy. Please don't let it fester. And do not lash out at others.... if you cross over the lines I draw for personal interaction here, I don't want to have to step in.
.

Thanks
Jeff

Gofasters no longer

Hello Everyone,

Gofasters hasn't been supplying parts direct to retail since the fall of 2014 when I have started the attempt of correcting the ship. I have read a lot of frustrations and can tell you, we aren't sitting still and doing this for all the wrong reasons. We are working with the dealers, and working to regain the network. Sadly HLSM couldn't get the microfiche shopping cart shut down on GoFasters website, so we had to remove it as we still were getting orders in our junk mail that I then would have to redirect to dealers.

The new website is one week behind which I had hoped would be the quick transition to our new microfiche platform that everyone can have access to for trials, enduro, clothing and accessories! Even suspension manuals and breakdowns on rear shocks...all on the main website.

The new warehouse is in Watertown, SD. Why there? Centrally located, late pick up by Fed Ex (my town of Ortonville was 12 pm pickup, couldn't get much out same day). In major town, with less snow storm cancelations of route pickup. Better workpool of employee's to choose from. Larger warehouse for expansion. Tax reliefs in SD. The list of reasons go on and on, but the main focus is rebuilding our parts inventory and get our dealer network growing.

2017 Dealer agreements are due by July 30th, and I can say we have almost over %80 of the dealers coming back, despite the old GG bankruptcy for a year. Some bikes are already on way to dealers! To me, that's a testament that Rod and I were heading in the right direction, and bringing Scot Harden on was a good move. It takes time, but there are dealers wanting your business, and probably have better staff for parts support than I could find for GoFasters. Give Halls, Matto Cycle, Bills Motorcycle plus, Wilmington, Tri-State, Gran Prix, Poet and many, many, more a chance and give GasGas a chance to rebuild. Only started first of April, it takes awhile. Broken record, but KTM was bankrupt once, so was Husky...heck, Husky was a bigger roller coaster ride for years compared to GasGas. GG now has the right owner, the right management and the ambition and goals to be the best. Give them that chance.

Thanks, Mark.

This forum , it seems to me, is the best source of information regards anything Gas Gas here in the USA. Having guys like you or Scott report in when you get a chance will probably go a long way towards keeping it a positive source of information .

Rod did a good job here on the GG forum keeping us informed in a positive way, it seems to me, and his departure left a vacuum that needs to be filled.

Just my opinion, of course.

I have had zero issues getting parts. I live 150 miles away from the closest dealer. I break something I call Bryon at Bills Motorcycle Plus. I have the part in a week. Great service.

Many states don't even have a single dealer, this is a big inconvenience for the average consumer. It is a business model from the 1970s, very antiquated.

My state doesn't have a dealer and I never had too much trouble calling Matto Cycle and getting parts within two days. He shipped really fast and always helped me source parts. I just had trouble recently with getting the brake pedal but that was a lack of parts in the USA as a whole I believe.

Call a dealer you trust and they will get you a part as fast as GoFasters.
