Evening all,
I've got a 2012 EC 250 with the Sachs shock and forks and feel the whole set up could be better.
I weigh 87.5kgs which rises to 100kgs with helmet, tools, hydration pack, knee braces, boots etc
Today I measured up:
Static sag (on stand vs off stand) and got 35mm
Rider sag (on stand vs off stand with rider) 117mm
The rear spring is a 5.2 and is preloaded 15mm.
I'm not that keen in high speed mx type riding, I prefer logs, rocks, tyres and the technical stuff. I noticed severe bottoming of the rear shock when popping over harsher obstacles so I have increased the high speed compression (7 clicks from closed) to solve it. I'm guessing I need to go up at least 1 spring rate on the rear..., no idea about the front... I'm hoping there are some wizards out there that can advise.
Advice about sourcing springs in UK or Austria would also be helpful?
Cheers fellas
