EC Chain/Sprocket Suggestions?

Need a set for my 2006 300EC. Was going with a stock 13T front (since they are rare to find anybody else making them) and a 50T rear, Moose or... (not Ironman, out of my price league). Do any chains NOT fit re: o ring/z ring, fit on sprocket, plate thickness clearance etc ? I've got a Regina Gold Z ring on a 640 and its very nice, but very beefy. Haven't had to adjust it yet in 1000kms. And I think I've read a few posts saying Regina wasn't that great??
Looking more for longevity than weight and effect on max hp.

I buy JT rear sprockets. Cheap and last a long time. My chain is a Regina Gold O-Ring chain. I must say I have been completely happy with this combo. My front is a Sprocket Specialist.

I put a new Ironman front sprocket on my '01 XC300 with a used chain. The Ironman sprocket has over 1000 miles on it and it has very little wear. Typically a Sprocket Specialists front sprocket would last about 600-700 miles before it started hooking.

I have Ironman on my '06 EC300 front and rear. They are impressive compared to anything else I have used.

The Ironman has a 1 year wear out warranty.

Stay away from Stealth sprockets (now through Sidewinder). I had a poor quality one and they are not warranteed against wear.

I have very good results with the high end RK chains. I got 2500 miles out of an RK RX chain with very little stretch.

Go for the ironman front - by stopping that wearing that quick I think it helps the chain and rear sprocket last longer as well. the front is not too expensive.

IRONMAN IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO. Call and ask for Nate, he is a racer himself and a very good one too. I myself use ironman sprockets and did even before they sponsored me. I have never had a problem and as everyone has stated above they wear great. I will be using them at this years ISDE as well as all of my local races simply because they are the best. Send me an email to Billyburnsins@hotmail.com and I will call Nate and see if I can get you a deal. They also sell packages that have a discount built in.

Every one of my Gas Gas bikes has had the Ironman sprockets, just ordered a new combo for my 08. These are the best hands down IMHO.

The Ironman CS sprockets go at least twice the milage of the stock Talons. I never wore out a rear, only replaced a bent one but not the sprockets fault.

Wow, a lot of Ironman advertising going on. And thanks Billy, I'll contact you.
The stock 13T front one is hooked so bad after 1800kms or so, I took the grinder to it so I can still use it till I get full replacements.

I thought it was possible to rotate them so you start off with the (reverse) new edge again?

You can in despiration, or if there is any Scottish in your heritage.... After I cleaned it up on the grinder, I think it is on reversed now but its only a temp situation til I get new ones. A worn chain isn't going to help a slightly better looking sprocket much. At least I figured out what the vibration was when I was coming to a stop.
