EC200 High Rev's

I have a 2003 ec 200 and its been a while since I have ridden a 2 stroke, does the 200 ec have a natural strong top end (full throttle) or is it normal to feel the torque taper off as you approach high revs like a 4 stroke ?

The low and mid is strong and I'm wondering about if I need a bigger main jet

Or more likely a smaller one. Read the jetting threads here. My 200 needed a different needle and it made a world of difference and made jetting of smaller and bigger throttle position jets meaningful.

Thanks, I have been through the jetting notes on the, I have the Pilot set up and the Low and Mid is strong, just not sure when the torque should taper off at full throttle, how responsive is yours at 7/8 to full thottle ?

Sorry, been too long, but I remember I had to increase the pilot jet that was reduced to try get it clean. Once I got the right needle the pilot started working again. Full throttle, I can't remember. Actually it was an old LTR jetting kit I bought off a member of a defunct site, gee is it 20 years ago?
