D Dave New member Apr 16, 2009 #2 It's an ac to dc rectifer. It allows the use of a dc horn on an ac electrical system.

D Dave New member Apr 16, 2009 #4 "Any" as long as it's water proof and can carry the current. Some vendors offer ac horns. (there's one near the bottom of this linked page) http://www.procycle.us/dskits/dskit.htm Converting the entire system to dc is another option.
