Engine Temps?

Engine guru's, I have a 2011-300 2T and recently installed a Trailtech bike computer, it reads glycol temp and will flash an amber high temp warning then a red high temp alarm. However I need to manually input the set points, and am a bit lost as to what is reasonable for warning and alarm temps. I raced a local race on Saturday and steamed a couple of times, max temp recorded wad 115 deg. Any opinions on setpoints?

Calibrate it in some hot water against a known temp gauge.

Ideal running temp for a 2 stroke would be near 50 deg C, 60 is fine, 70 ok, but losing power, 80s a bit hot, but snotty conditions might get there. I have never run a temp gauge on a dirtbike, maybe it would scare me.

115F=46C, so bit odd there.

I have mine set for the amber on at 93 deg. C and the red to flash at 104 deg. C.
With a themostat installed, mine will run about 58 deg. C. in most riding conditions if clipping along in 3rd or higher.

I set my amber for 160*F and red for 180*F. Alerts me well before it would boil over. My engine temps are usually 120* to 130*, only increases when I get stuck in trail trash.

Roughly the same as Neil when I had a Vapor on my KDX.

I might put mine ten degrees closer to boiling (100C/212F).
