in need of a new rubber joint between the front pipe and Q stealth silencer can anyone tell the the size i need, im unable to get to my bike to measure them for the next few days and need to order a new one

Thanks.

In a pinch, you can use automotive heater hose, or small diameter rad hose. The petroleum will quickly degrade the rubber. Just an option, if you want ride and don't have the correct part.

Can't remember off the top of my head but easy enough to find out, just measure the diameter of the exhaust outlet tube. I remember I did have to heat mine up a bit to get it pliable to fit around, but nice thing is it's tight and doesn't leak any spooge at the joint.

Here's the nos. for you:
Stock rubber piece ID: 1 1/16"
Silencer pipe OD: 1 5/32"
Heater Hose I'm using: 1" ID

Up to 1 1/8 ID hose will work. You just may need hose clamps to keep spooge from leaking out.

The heater hose has lasted longer than the stock rubber did on my primary bike. When the stock piece fails on the spare bike, it will get the heater hose replacement.
