I have set up the carb as per advice on here and it runs well in every way except this annoying high idle issue.
When started from cold with choke the idle is very high so I push the choke knob in straight away. It then has a fast idle... Not ridiculous just a high idle.
If I select first gear and engage the clutch a bit the idle reduces and stays just right.. even back in neutral.
If I blip the throttle it regains the high idle...?
I can reduce the idle to normal using a touch of clutch (in gear) every time.
It starts and runs lovely otherwise.
Any thoughts on why this happens?
Thanks
