First Enduro of 2015

Bike ran like a top as usual. I have decent throttle control, and don't ride super aggressive so I prefer the 300. Kind of cruise along in 3rd gear and let the power pull me along. I also like the 300 in technical stuff for the same reason, it lugs down to nothing, doesn't stall easily, and tractors along.

I race Vet B, and finished 4th in class, 3 minutes behind the class winner.

Good ride. I think my wife was behind you part of the day on her GasGas 250.
I was on a Beta 300 in the old man class Super Vet A.

Looked like perfect traction through there.
That bike looked like it was hooked up and pulling all the way through.
What clutch setup are you running?
Something about that clutch and the way it was shifting.

Armin is too modest ... he won the SuperVet A (50+) class by over 2 minutes ... handily bested me in all the tests too. His wife finished second in the Womens A class.

I run the stock GG clutch pack. It may cost a bit more than the DP kit, but it hooks up and wears well. Not a fan of the Rekluse. I know there is a place for them, and don't criticise anybody who runs one, but it's not for me.

Trail conditions were perfect. A little moisture, in perfect loam without any rocks. We really have some of the best riding terrain there is. Too bad we have so little access to it. That's a big part of the reason I race, it gives me access to property that I otherwise couldn't ride.
