I don't know how you blokes follow the trail.. It all looks the same to my untrained eye! :D

Welcome.
Looks like you're riding in West Texas.

What type of camera is that?

It is the GroPro hero2. The data overlay is an experiment using RaceRender2 and the iPhone app trackaddict. The software is really made for auto racing but I thought I would just test it out. So the speed you see registered is provided by GPS and not speedometer.

I was sort of thinking the same thing, only how to find your way back after a few miles of that. If it's not windy I guess it's no big deal. :D

Where am I coming?? Need a holiday one of these years.. I was thinking Hawaii :p

he is in farmington nm.. we are in amarillo tx 79108.. he is about 4 hours from me, but the terrain looks the same..
lake mackenzie, tulia tx is my fav place..

hawaii sounds good too (make sure and pack your jets and needles...)
sorry to hi jack.

I like you're driving style if you can make it form amarillo texas to farmington new mexico in 4 hours you're the king. My grandfather had a quarter horse ranch in hereford texas and I've got relatives all over new mexico and texas. I can see 4 hours to albuquerque maybe a little bit past but not farmington

I'll do it in 3 with my gasser! *chuckles*

You'd be reading about me missing in the desert somewhere.. All fear and loathing style swatting at the imaginary bats as I ride along! haha!

it is only 465 miles...that is only 116mph average.. jk.. did not realize it was that far west. we had some techs that went to school there, but i always thought it was closer to clovis nm for some reason..
